BLAID AI Chatbot
AI capability with complete control of your data — inside your own infrastructure.
The BLAID AI chatbot answers your company's questions from your own documents. It runs in the environment you choose, and it names the source behind every answer it gives.

About this service
In most companies the knowledge already exists in full — in manuals, in the ERP, in old email threads — and somebody still answers the same question again every week. Public AI assistants do not help with this: they do not know your company, and they are not allowed to see the documents in question. The BLAID AI chatbot closes exactly that gap. It works only on your content, inherits permissions from the systems behind it, and runs wherever you want it — from a German cloud provider to your own data centre.

How the project runs
Each phase ends with something you can see and judge — not a project that only becomes visible at the end.
Discovery workshop
We collect the questions people in your company actually ask, and establish which documents answer them. The result is a list of real use cases rather than a technology wish list.
Infrastructure and architecture
Together we settle where the system runs, how the environment is secured, and which roles it has to know about. This phase ends with the target architecture in writing.
Connecting your data
The relevant sources are connected and permissions are inherited. Anyone who cannot see something in the source system cannot see it in the assistant either — that gets tested, not assumed.
Pilot with real questions
A small group asks exactly the questions from phase 01. We measure which answers hold up and tune until the hit rate convinces you.
Rollout and operation
Rolled out across the company, with an introduction for each team, monitoring, and a named contact. New documents keep flowing in without a new project.
Where it is used
It pays off fastest where many people have recurring questions about a large, grown body of documents.
- Customer service: answers on products and contracts
- HR: information on policies and processes
- Technical support: access to manuals and fault archives
- Order processing: status questions without asking a colleague
- Onboarding: new joiners ask instead of searching
- Proposals: finding an earlier one to work from
What to watch for
Three points where projects like this typically get difficult — and how we handle them.
The server requirements are real
A self-hosted language model needs dedicated hardware. We work the requirement out before the decision and show openly at what point a hosted option costs less than your own servers.
Grown document stores are untidy
That is the normal case and not a reason to stop. Structuring is part of the work — and where it turns out to be substantial it gets planned as its own step rather than quietly absorbed.
Without an introduction, nobody uses it
We plan the team introduction in from the start. An assistant nobody knows about answers no questions, which is why phase 05 is part of the project and not an extra.
Why BLAID for this
Four reasons this differs from buying a standard product off the shelf.
Built in Germany
Design, delivery and operation sit with a team in Leipzig working under the same law you do.
Fitted to your company
The assistant knows your terms, your processes and your document landscape — not the average of your industry.
No recurring licence fees to third parties
You pay for operation and development, not per user per month to an external provider.
One contact, for the long run
The same team stays responsible after rollout. Monitoring is part of the handover, so a fault surfaces before somebody reports it.
